About the project
The joint project, with an initial investment of over €300 million, covers four photovoltaic parks with a combined capacity of over 280 MW, as well as one natural gas power plant with an installed capacity of at least 475MW.

Energetic Oltenia came naturally as a result of the common mission to develop as many solar parks as possible in Romania and, implicitly, to align with the economic objectives necessary to ensure the energy independence of the European Union and the fulfilment of the commitments undertaken by the Green Deal Agreement (European Green Deal).
In line with the European Union’s decarbonisation and energy independence policies, in order to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, we need to increase the share of renewable energy in the energy mix and ensure greater energy efficiency.
