CCGT TURCENI
The company S. CENTRALA IN CICLU CICLU COMBINAT PE GAZ (CCCG) TURCENI S.A. published on 24.01.2025 the participation notice for the procurement procedure regarding “Construction of a natural gas-based energy unit of approximately 475 MW at Turceni (“CCCG Turceni”) – design, engineering, procurement, execution of works, commissioning, and long-term maintenance services”.

The project is co-financed by the Modernisation Fund.
Design, engineering, procurement, works execution and commissioning of an energy unit (combined cycle gas turbine power plant – a power plant that combines two different thermodynamic cycles) to generate electricity efficiently by utilizing the residual heat from a gas turbine to produce additional energy through a steam turbine, with a capacity of approximately 475 MW at Turceni (EPC), and long-term maintenance services for the main equipment (gas turbine, steam turbine, electric generator, and a distributed control system, including their auxiliary elements) (LTSA).

1. Financial component:
- Bid price – maximum score of 34 points
2. Technical component:
- The net efficiency of the power plant at 100% load, under reference site conditions –maximum score of 60 points
- Minimum environmental load (MEL) – maximum score of 6 points
V. TOTAL CONTRACT TERM – 170 months (38 months for execution and 132 months for the LTSA component)
