Invitation to public debate on the results of the ESIA Report ”Construction of an energy unit at S.E. Turceni”

S. CENTRALA ÎN CICLU COMBINAT PE GAZ (CCCG) TURCENI S.A. together with the shareholders Tinmar Energy and Complexul Energetic Oltenia, are honored to invite you to participate on 20 January, starting at 10:00, in the public debate on the preliminary results of the ESIA Report in the context of the ”Construction of a new power unit of approximately 475 MW, fuelled by natural gas, at S.E. Turceni’’.

This public debate will include the presentation of the preliminary findings of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Report. The ESIA assesses the potential impact of the project on the environment and on the socio-economic conditions in the project area, following sustainable development standards and objectives. It should also be noted that the project has already gone through a public consultation stage as part of the environmental impact assessment procedure and has obtained the environmental consent.

Discussions Agenda

10:00 – Introduction: Introductory speech by the representative of the project owner

10:15 – Presentation of the ESIA report: The technical consultant, Ramboll South-East Europe, will present the preliminary findings of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Report Mediului

10:45 – Dialogue with the stakeholders: Open discussion session, where the technical consultant will respond to questions and comments from stakeholders

11:30 – Conclusions: Closing the debate and conclusions
