Rovinari Photovoltaic Park
Solar energy is the cleanest and richest renewable energy source available. It is time to build around it the Rovinari Photovoltaic Park, with an installed capacity of ~ 83 MWp.
Location
The park will be built on the adjacent Cicani and Beterega closed slag and ash dumps, both on the left bank of the Jiu River, located in Rovinari, Gorj County, longitude 23.16 E and latitude 44.92 N.

Project Value
The total value of the Project is RON 362,980,967 (RON equivalent of EUR 73,125,623), of which the maximum amount secured from the Modernisation Fund is RON 254,086,677 (RON equivalent of EUR 51,187,936 - 70% of the total value of the Project).
